A friend of mine is currently redecorating his spare room to
create the perfect bedroom for his 5 year old son. Being into home storage and
decorating he has asked for my advice and help and I was more than willing to
lend a hand so for the last few days I’ve been looking at different styles of
kids furniture and thought I’d share my favourite here on the blog.
When furnishing a child’s bedroom you want to find the right
mix between practicality and fun. Obviously the practically part is for the
parents as they will want somewhere to store all the child’s clothes where as
the kid is going to want the most room to play and doesn't want dull boring wardrobe doors ruining the bright
colourful fun of the room. There is plenty of furniture out there though that
combines these two elements together and for me nothing sums it up quite like
this cool robot wardrobe.
The shape and colours make this a fun addition to any child's room but the multiple wardrobe doors make it a useful storage place for lots of clothes and bits.
Have you seen any other good examples of fun but practical furniture for a kids bedroom?
